Other LED replacement bulbs do not direct light in all directions like the bulbs you want to replace. Only Tru-Sphere bulbs direct light so they can be seen properly from the rear of your motorcycle, even when the light is not pointed directly towards the rear.
Dimensions are the same as a standard 1156 incandescent bulb so it can be used as a direct replacement for those applications where other LED bulbs won't fit.
