On my 2003 1800 Retro I have the Techlusion fuel management system, a stock air box with a K&N filter and V&H pipes. I've tweaked it a few times but it's real close to the suggested settings. I've gotten as much as 160 miles to a tank before the fuel light came on - of course I was riding pretty conservatively - but the bike runs great. I've seen others that tend to run rich (and I'm not sure which fuel management system they are using) but I'm quite happy with the Techlusion.
