I purchased these pipes for my 2005 1300 VTX Honda and also changed the stock air clener to a hypercharger. Now to a Barons Air cleaner. I\'ve had the bike to 3 different Honda shops and have had the carb system throughly gone over at great expense. These pipes don\'t produce enough back pressure and although they sound great the bike still runs like crap.
I would not recommend these to anyone. A Vance and Hines with better baffles or a two into one system is what I\'m looking at now. Very dissapointed in the performance of these cobras.

There is nothing wrong with these pipes!
You should have called ME!
We have the jet kit required.
It\'s on this website.
Installation help is available on our forum at: www.Xchoppers.com/bb
The \"mechanics\" you have gone to are the problem.
Take your bike to a custom shop, NOT A HONDA DEALER!
Honda dealers seldom know what they\'re doing whenever anything has been changed.
If you take Vance & Hines or any other brand pipes to those same guys they won\'t be able to tune them either.
Consider the Mortons pipes with almost no back pressure at all. We have sold 500+ sets!
Any decent mechanic can properly tune for any exhausts we sell.
Why do you think you see so many bikes running Cobra pipes?
You need to find a real mechanic!
