Optional Heat Shields cover the first 6"-12" from cylinder heads where head pipes are 1 3/4" giving protection from heat and possible blueing of chrome. Chrome heat shields will not turn color even if pipe underneath turns blue from improper jetting.

The Mortons system we offer from Xchoppers is ceramic coated on the inside to help resist bluing. Internal ceramic coating is optional at Mortons. Beware of other retailers that do not add this extra feature.

These Mortons pipes are the perfect "Hot Rod" looking system for your VTX 1300.

We can also put a black velvet coat of ceramic on the outside of your pipes instead of chrome. This hot new semi flat look will let the pipes run 400 degrees cooler for added horsepower. Allow an extra 10 days for delivery of pipes when selecting this option.

POWER CONES (shown below) - Power Cones are recommended to ensure proper backpressure. A jet kit is required to reset your carb. Power cones are used to control backpressure and maintain maximum power output from your VTX. Please add them below if desired.
