Note all Windvest windshields for the Suzuki M109 are designed to work with stock handlebar risers. Aftermarket risers with more pullback than stock will not work with these windshields. To get more pullback for less reach use handlebars with more pullback than stock. See our selection of drag bars in our handlebar section. On the M109R especially, due to the laid back angle which Windvest shields must be installed at on this bike you will need the taller, 18" shield to get maximum shielding in the face area. If you want to ride with an open face windshield, get the 18" tall x 16".wide. This is the ONLY windhield made that will provide wind protection with an open face helmet.
